Some images straight out of my new Olympus EM10 using the "Art" filter called B/W Grainy Film.
Outtakes from this weeks Flickr Group Macro Mondays "The Office" theme...
Photos from the Olympia Meetup groups trip down to Bucks Fifth Avenue exotic spice shop. The meetup theme was Food Photography. There were shooting opportunities upstairs with food that members brought, or downstairs in the spice shop filled with all sorts of cool jars of spices. It was my first time visiting this very cool little Olympia shop.

Again, another Macro Mondays theme where I took too many photos I liked to be able to pick just 2 entries. So these are some of the others. The theme this week was green. Besides having some items in this color, I also mixed together some yellow and blue paint to make green. In the end I didn't like these shots as much as the cat toy and Jagermeister bottle.
This weeks theme is "Feathers". As always I take far too many images to post them all to the group so here is my whole set. See the weeks gallery here. http://www.flickr.com/groups/macromonday
Theme for the week of 1/6/14 was "Good HEalth". Glowstick fluid in syringes.
Fall leaves that just don't want to give up.
An old Vac tube from a guitar amp shot for Macro Mondays 2" or less theme. This item is exactly 2" tall and about .75" diameter. I've had this kicking around for a good 20 years. No longer play guitar, but it was too cool to throw away. It is sitting on an old piece of circuit board from some sort of scientific test equipment I dismantled. I think this was from the mid 80's. It is a cool translucent green. LED light below reflecting on the glass. Background is lit from, the below LED light. It is a circuit board from a more modern computer. I have a stash of boards, and hard drives taken apart just for photos. Title inspired by the 80's movie "War Games". I watched this tonight after a contact of mine mentioned it in a comment to another photo I posted. Here is a set of images plus a few of plain circuit boards.
On October 19th the Olympia Photographers Meetup group and the Olympia Camera Club teamed up to present a great photo opportunity. This was my first time shooting this subject. The night was very foggy so the sky was a strange purple/gray. A great time had by all. See other images from the Meetup group here: http://www.meetup.com/Olympia-Photographers/photos/18044472/

For this weeks entry I used a brown "Growler" bottle from the beer store. Back-lit from the sun through the bedroom window. There was still some moisture inside the bottle so there was some interesting patterns to see. Here are the extra images from this weeks theme.
Finally got outside today with the camera when the sun was just right.
